5 Tips For Wearing Makeup With Glasses

Now ladies, I know how hard it is trying to create a perfect eye look with glasses as I do wear them. It can be really tricky. So, I'm here to help you with this problem...

Firstly, find yourself a good pair of tweezers. You can get high quality or low quality but there is a huge difference. A low quality will cost  around £3.00 - £6.00 but a hight quality will cost around £10.00 - £20.00. Try and find one in between. As your eyebrows are right above your glasses these could be your main point of your face. So, groom them to the shape of your glasses.

Secondly, neutral shades look more flattering on girls with glasses but that doesnt mean they have to look dull and boring. Shimmery shades can really bring out your eyes and make them pop. Make sure you try different combinations to find the one that suits you best. Don't be afraid to try.

Now, to blend those beautiful colours you need brushes. This 10 pack eye brushes are from ELF for only £12.00. These are great for doing the job. I own this pack myself. These are great for getting started. You can eitheer buy the whole pack or each brush is only £1.50 each.

You're going to want to define your eyes buy using eyeliner. You can choose from pencil, liquid or gel. I think all can make your eyes gorgeous. Avoid lining your waterline with black liner as it can create the illusion of your eyes being much smaller. If you want to make them appear bigger and brighter try using a nude or white liner.

If you still feel as it your look isnt bright enough move onto your lips. A bright lip canr eally pull this look together even more. I reccomend the new Revlon Just Bitten Lip Stains. They come in a variety of colours and are just £7.99. One side is a moisturising lip balm and the other gives a beautiful bright lip stain.

Enjoy <3

  1. I think the best thing to do when it comes to apply eyeshadow (if you wear glasses)is to put a neutral shimmer eyeshadow on the lid and apply a darker mat eyeshadow in your crease. You shouldn't use too many shimmer eyeshadows because glasses lenses reflects the light and it might be too much. When it comes to line your eyes a blue/purple eyeliner or eyepencil (much better) can be very cute, but the colour shouldn't be too bright :)
